Chicago 2013 – Hana is recovering in her hospital bed after her groundbreaking surgery. Suddenly, there’s an emergency, and she dies mere hours after her operation.
- “Like Magic” In 2013, in New York, reporter Benita Alexander began work on a TV special about the world-renowned surgeon Dr. Paolo Macchiarinni.
- “Worth The Risk” This episode centers on the worldwind romance between Paolo and Benita. HAnah’s passing from “complications” after her seemingly successful transplant forces Benita to change the direction of her documentary.
- “The Horizon” As soon as the special about Paolo airs he takes it upon himself to announce his and Benita’s engagement in front of all her friends and colleagues.

Dr. Death season 2 episode 5 is a masterpiece. Here is an article that has a good summary. I shouldn’t have watched this while I was killing time at an appointment. This is one of the best, most emotional episodes of any show I’ve ever seen. Stellar.
