A young and beautiful man, Dorian Gray, wishes to stay young while his portrait ages, and becomes a hedonist influenced by Lord Henry Wotton. His portrait reveals his crimes and his fate in this classic novel by Oscar Wilde.
Inspired by Henry to seek pleasure in life, Dorian wanders one night into a shabby theater and falls in love with an actress, Sibyl Vane. When he tells Henry about his feelings, Henry speaks skeptically about monogamy, especially for someone as beautiful and intriguing as Dorian.
