   The LEAF also has air-cooled batteries, done for cost cutting, and some consider a deal-breaker. In my opinion not ruinous for battery life. The 2011 first batch batteries were terrible, but Nissan improved, and replaced the pack on the 2011 back in 2017, down 15% in five years and 52K miles.
