Loose Cannons. (2010 film) Loose Cannons (Italian: Mine vaganti) is a 2010 Italian comedy film directed by Ferzan Özpetek. Özpetek also wrote the script with the help of Ivan Cotroneo, while Domenico Procacci served as a producer.
The film was going to be shot on weekends for $400,000, using out-of-date film stock, until an Italian producer, Domenico Procacci, read the script. He contributed the $400,000 but insisted the film be shot on good stock. It was eventually shot over nine weeks for a total budget of around $800,000.
