In my experience, yes, usually. If the mod is simple, use the Native preset. If it uses some of the Diplomacy features, use the Diplomacy preset, and if it's based on Brytenwalda (or you'rejust trying to modVking Conquest), use the Brytenwalda preset. But usually the Native preset should do.

Nov 3, 2021 · For the time being, until further updates, install more mods into Minecraft by renaming launcher_profiles_microsoft_store.json to launcher_profiles.json, installing new mods, and renaming the file back to launcher_profiles_microsoft_store.json.
There's a nifty little utility mod that shows you what mods load for how long. Loading Profiler. Put it in the mods folder, start Minecraft and then read the loading-log.log with a text editor. There's a Total Time for each mod near the bottom of the file.
