  1. Ninja Gaiden titles are very challenging, especially coming from more modern games. That's what I'm hoping for. People talk about how challenging the games FromSoftware makes are, but they're not nearly as much so as games like REmake and DMC3 for example.

    • Hero Mode. Added in Ninja Gaiden 3 and brought over to the first two games with Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus and Sigma 2 Plus, Hero Mode makes the game easier.
  2. Sigma 2 is disappointing, I suggest installing Sigma 2 BLACK mod which brings back what made the original Ninja Gaiden 2 so great. Razors Edge is the best version of NG3, so no complaints there. All in all, they are fairly barebones ports, but there are some really good mods out there if you look hard enough.
