I'm reading books (on book 5 right now), and I still really enjoyed the last episode. I actually really enjoyed changes they made to Bree and her relationship with Claire. Claire's experience was life changing and she wouldn't have gone back the same person and wouldn't have been a "normal" mom.

When Claire and Jamie visited the Palace of Versailles, Claire was shocked to learn from the Duke of Sandringham (Simon Callow) and Black Jack's brother Alex Randall (Laurence Dobiesz) that Black Jack did not die at Wentworth Prison like she originally thought.
