Theory about Nick's Mom. I do not think she's dead. I mean her Dad lied about so much and I get the flash backs made it look like he's a good guy deep down but I honestly think he was shady from the start and I do believe he's been lying to Nick her whole life about her Mom.

Dorothy Harbaugh is a recurring character in the Netflix Original series, No Good Nick. She is portrayed by Molly Hagan.
She is Nick’s and Omar’s foster mother. She, along with Sam, taught Nick everything she needed to know about being a con artist.
She seems to show a lot more love for her foster kids than Sam does. However she is still quite greedy, and doesn't seem to care if she hurts the innocent people involved in her scams, claiming that it was 'better them than us' while robbing the Thompsons. She is more patient than her husband is, however was in quite a hurry to rob the Thompsons house, presumably in fear of the Thompsons coming to and catching them. She became quite paranoid after Nick began running cons behind her and Sam's backs. She is also a good actor, appearing as a perky and kind woman. She often uses her foster kids' (i.e. Will and Nick) current family predicaments as leverage. It is unknown if she uses this for all her foster kids or just Nick and Will (however, she most likely does). Dorothy also is quite fond of wine, often getting a little hungover.
