Miwa Kageyama (Japanese: 影山 (かげやま) 美羽 (みわ) , Kageyama Miwa) is the older sister of Tobio Kageyama. She currently works as a hair and makeup artist.
Miwa has short black hair that reaches just below her jaw and pulled back bangs. Her eyes are almond shaped and are a lighter color than her hair. She holds a close facial similarity to her younger brother.
When she was younger, she used to have long hair and blunt cut bangs.
Although not much is known about her personality, she was seen smiling and competing with her brother when they were younger. She also seemed to enjoy playing volleyball quite a lot, though she eventually quit because she didn't want to cut her hair.
When Miwa was younger, she was shown to have been greatly involved in playing volleyball. She would often accompany her grandfather and younger brother to evening practices. When she entered high school, she decided to stop playing because of an unwritten rule that the girl players had to have short hair and she didn't want to cut her hair yet.
During Kageyama's flashback during the match between the Schweiden Adlers and MSBY Black Jackals, Miwa first appears shortly after Kageyama was born. Her infant brother somehow got ahold of her volleyball and her grandfather tried to get it back but Kageyama prevented him from doing so. When Kageyama became a little older, he and Miwa would join their grandfather at his volleyball practices when their parents would stay late at work.
This would continue until she started high school. Because it was an unwritten rule that the players needed to have short hair, Miwa decided against playing volleyball because she didn't want to cut hers yet. She further surprised her grandfather by saying she had a boyfriend but still received his support for whatever she decided. When her brother was most likely still in his second or third year of middle school, Kazuyo passed away and Miwa is seen standing with Kageyama during the funeral.

•Tobio Kageyama: During childhood, the two often played volleyball together and competed against each other, with Miwa apparently able to outdo her brother several times. After Miwa stopped playing volleyball, they are not shown together as often. •Kazuyo Kageyama: He was Miwa's grandfather who appeared to be very involved in her life when she was young. Like with her brother, Miwa often practiced volleyball with her grandfather until she eventually decided to leave the sport.
When he was around four years old, Kageyama started playing volleyball with his grandfather, Kazuyo, and his older sister, Miwa. He soon found a passion for the sport and became a setter due to it being the position that got to touch the ball the most.
