Situated on the grounds of the historic Alger Estate in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan, The War Memorial serves approximately 100,000 individuals annually. Our programming includes honoring veterans, engaging experiences for adults and children, community events and celebrations, and premier hospitality services.
All the times I've driven by and never really paid attention til now. It's closed inside, due to the pandemic, but is still beautiful grounds to walk. Absolutely gorgeous, and nice pathways to get all the way through. Paved parking lot. Benches to sit and admire the view.
