Before playing Feed The Beast, you should do the following: 1. Purchase Minecraft: Java & Bedrock Edition for PC from the Microsoft Store. It is included with PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. 2. Install Minecraft: Java Edition and launch it at least once to verify it runs successfully on your computer.
Once you have Minecraft: Java Edition successfully running on its own you are ready to install the FTB App. 1. Download the app from here. 2. Run the app. 3. Configure the installation folder and desktop shortcuts. 4. Create a profile using your Microsoft account.
There are many FTB modpacks, as listed here. The FTB App can also be used to install CurseForge modpacks as well.
Become the creator of your own modded Minecraft experience! With the FTB App you can create your own Modpacks in just a few clicks! You can add mods, remove mods, and even share your Modpack with the world!
You don't need to install any mods yourself, the launcher does it for you. Download the FTB launcher, select a modpack you want to play, hit the install button. It creates a new .minecraft in a separate directory.
Modrinth is a (somewhat) new platform for both forge and fabric modpacks alike, ATLauncher probably works fine. The old launchers (Technic and Legacy FTB) are still working even if they are crusty, so if you want to play older packs from the 1.7 era, you can use'em.
Your solution is multimc or gdlauncher. The legacy launcher is depreciated, and likely doesn't work. The launchers suggested here will let you install and edit FTB packs. 11. Reply. CorrectPlant6. • 2 yr. ago • Edited 1 yr. ago. I strongly suggest MultiMC. It's an open source Minecraft launcher.
