    When you connect your device to a Windows PC, Device Manager can confirm whether your computer is connected to your iPhone or iPad and update your driver if needed.

    When you connect your device to a Mac laptop computer with Apple silicon, your Mac might ask whether you want to allow this accessory to connect. If so, allow it to connect.

    If you see a “Trust this Computer?” alert on your device when you plug it into your computer, tap Trust. If you don’t see the alert or tapped incorrectly and the computer and iPhone or iPad may not trust one another, reset your Location & Privacy settings.

  2. Feb 8, 2013 · Blackberry Device Manager shows it as being connected too, but it just doesn't get mapped for some reason and wont show up in BB Link. When i plug it in, i get a pop up in the corner saying "device detected, initializing access" but after that nothing happens. Does anyone have a solution?

Aug 11, 2018 · It doesn’t show up in iTunes nor the file explorer and in device manager it’s shown as unknown device with a yellow exclamation mark next to it (going to the properties tab, it says “a request for the usb device descriptor failed). The iPhone doesn’t even charge when connected to the computer.
