Welcome to Boarding. Our top priority is that your children are happy, healthy and well cared for – allowing them to achieve their full potential academically, socially and physically. We are also careful to integrate our boarders with their day-student counterparts, ensuring that they feel part of the Cranbrook community from day one.
IN-YEAR APPLICATIONS FOR YEAR 10 AND YEAR 11. Students wishing to make an In-Year Application for Years 10 and 11, should contact the the Admissions Team to check on availability of a place on 01580 711804 or email registrar@cranbrook.kent.sch.uk. Entry for these other year groups will also be assessed using a CAT4 test.
Jun 7, 2024 · As Cranbrook School is a selective Grammar School, all candidates have to undergo testing. They will be offering 52 boarding places for Year 9 entry in September 2024: 34 boys and 18 girls boarding places.

Cranbrook has two Boarding Houses, Rawson and Street, which together care for approximately 75 students from Year 7 to Year 12. There is a good mix of students from Sydney, rural Australia, and overseas.
