   • The foundations for learning are set from the early days as a Year 7 boarder; these skills will be used throughout their time at Cranbrook. The boys complete their prep in the school library every evening from 6.30pm until 8pm under the supervision of the librarians and resident tutors.

   Why was my first year at Cranbrook so memorable?

   • MALCOLM DAN (Old Cranbrookian 1952) Senior Diplomat. My first year was memorable because Cranbrook had leased one of Bellevue Hill’s great mansions, ‘Rona’, as a Boarding House for some twenty-five boys who were supervised by a live-in master, K.C Jolly. Rona was an annex of the main school’s Boarding House, Rawson House.
