Sep 1, 2014 · The pin size is my only uncertainty but someone has that info, the rod journal is 2.750 and the center to center length is 10.5" that should be the same specs as all Case rods including the small crank 504s. The wrist pins size increased as the HP increased. I believe the latest pins were 1.625.
May 31, 2011 · Do you have an operator's manual (which has a section on tying problems, with pictures of mangled knots and how to correct them)? To start with, I would check twine tension, needle position (as it rises through the knotter) and tucker finger operation/timing as the book instructs.

Jul 6, 2023 · 347 stainless steel is an austenitic stainless steel, which means that it is a non-magnetic iron-based alloy that is highly resistant to corrosion and has a high level of toughness and ductility. Like other austenitic stainless steels, 347 contains high levels of chromium and nickel, which give it its corrosion resistance.
Apr 5, 2003 · If you have ever seen a 347 piston next to a 331, it is very hard to tell which one is which, the differances are minimal at most. So all that said why would you not want the extra cubes and the added torque of the larger motor. the rod ratio is still not that bad with the 3.400 stroke.
