The enhanced game offered color graphics, custom explosion sounds, a multiplayer mode which allowed for simultaneous gameplay between up to four opponents, and in Wario Blast a special Wario & Bomberman frame around the TV screen.
In addition to its single player mode, Bomberman GB also features two different multiplayer modes: Battle Mode and Grand Prix Mode. In Battle Mode, up to four players compete against each other in an arena filled with power-ups and traps while trying to be the last one standing.

Wario Blast
One day, as Wario went out for a stroll, he came across Bomberman's world; Wario began to pillage the world for treasure in hopes of becoming rich. Only Bombermancan stop Wario's greedy, yet evil plans. It is up to the player who succeeds.

Bomberman is out for a stroll one day on his Moto, when suddenly he is ambushed by a group of Black Bombermen and is tackled, resulting in five of his Power-Ups- Kick, the Dash Shoes, the Trouncer, Line Bomb, and the aforementioned Moto, being forcibly taken by the Black Bombermen.
