The beginning of the episode shows Leyland Academy basketball coach Dan Sullivan running drills with two of his players, Eric Tanner and Kevin LaCroix. Whenever Kevin drives the ball to the rim, Eric gets knocked down.
Meanwhile, Taylor Blaine is shown sitting in the bleachers and a flashback shows him sitting with a guidance counselor where it's revealed that Taylor's family doesn't have a lot of money and he doesn't have the grades to get a scholarship.
Back in the gym, Taylor gets texted photos of himself in his underwear & is shown to be drunk. A week later, when Taylor and his mother, Anne are doing laundry at home, Taylor tells her that he doesn't want to go back to Leyland.
Meanwhile, when the basketball team is finishing up practice, Eric shows Kevin a dirty picture on his cell phone. As Coach Sullivan is about to leave, he stops to film a cheerleader doing a provocative dance; it's later revealed that the cheerleader is Coach Sullivan's daughter & he made the video to show his wife, Steph what their daughter is up to.
Kevin's family is introduced with his mother Terri and father Michael. Terri is shown to be controlling & protective, she doesn't like Kevin's girlfriend, Val and she believes that everybody is trying to use her son.
Taylor is later called into the headmistress, Leslie Graham's office where Anne is there. Leslie tells them that Taylor will be suspended from school due to the pictures that have circulated around which shocks Anne. When Anne tries to ask Taylor what happened, Taylor is reluctant to talk to her.
