Dragons' Life is a freestyle dragon roleplaying game in which you customize a dragon OC (original character) and roleplay with it. There is no game-specific storyline, so you can choose your own story to roleplay on.
Ages
When you first click "Play" and start the game, you'll be greeted with four age options. These age options include Egg, Newborn, Teen, and Adult. They're all accurately sized. The dragon inside the egg cannot be customized, and will save to the last non-egg dragon you've used. When you spawn, you have the option to grow in the Menu.
Coloring
To color a certain part of your dragon, first find the part you want to color, then click the desired color on the color palette. You can change the shade of the color by dragging around the bar on the lower part of the screen to the section of the color you'd prefer. Body parts you can color include Eye Color, Primary, Secondary, Spikes, Inside Wings, Sclera, Claws, and Pupils.
Paint Bucket
If you'd like a more advanced appearance, you might want to consider using the Paint Bucket. Select the color you'd like to use, click "Start painting", and click the part on your dragon that you'd like to have that color. The colors you select work the same was as in the normal coloring. To stop painting your dragon, click "Stop painting".
The map has multiple area for different elements, and many features with them.

Packs/Families
Packs/Families are groups of players, typically for roleplaying, but also including certain benefits. Creating a pack or a family allows you to send a message to all other members, and to set ranks for the members. To create a pack/family, click the button on the left with the tree and the dragon that says "Packs/Families". Under the section that says "Create a family or clan", select either "Family" or "Pack" and type the name of your new group in the bar below. Then click "Create a pack" or "Create a family". You can keep any players from joining your pack or family by clicking the green lock saying "Everyone can join". It will then turn into a red lock that says "No one can join". To undo this action, just click it again. You can change your rank name by clicking "Change your rank name", then typing in the rank name you'd like to assign, and clicking "Rename". To change another member's rank name, click their username in the Members list and click "Change rank name". Then type in the rank name and click "Rename". You can also kick or ban players from your pack or family. To kick or ban a player, click their username in the Members list and click "Kick [username] from Pack/Family" or "Ban [username] from Pack/Family". To send a message to the members in your pack or family, find the section that says "Send a message to all the members", type your message, and click "Send". If you don't wish to own your pack or family, you can join another. Simply open the "Packs/Families" icon and click the name of the pack or family you want to join (they will be in separate sections). If you no longer wish to be in your current pack or family, click the "Leave" button.
