Jul 16, 2019 · You have to kill the mob or collect the drops from the minion to gain collection, so afking next to the drop won’t help you gain collection.
If you want to use this as an AFK drop farm, add a dispenser at mob head height with a lava bucket. The half slabs should keep the lava up at head height and all the mobs will burn to death in the lava.
The only way to really fix that flaw in your farm design is to either light up all caves in the area or build you farm further away from the ground and your afk spot 128 blocks away from any other possible spawning spaces.
The main focus right now should be the Extra Farming Drops perk and the +1 Farming Level Cap perk. Players should probably have enough Medals and Jacob's Tickets for the first few Extra Farming Drops for a small boost in ☘ Farming Fortune .
While experience is directly granted to the player in using furnaces, fishing, and killing mobs using a sword with the Telekinesis enchantment, all other sources of XP drop experience orbs, which may be collected in the same manner as Coins.
