Tiffin has a large Sixth Form of about 500 students, including approximately 40% who are new to Tiffin from other schools, and we welcome applicants for Sixth Form places from boys and girls who will achieve good GCSEs.
Everyone is new to Year 12; whether joining the Sixth Form from Tiffin or from another school, we offer you the opportunity to join in, work hard and enjoy our relaxed and supportive environment designed for bright and enthusiastic young adults.

From 2017 the minimum qualification for entry is 8 GCSE grades with an average grade of 6.625 (equivalent to 5 grade A's and 3 grade B's at GCSE). The applicant must have a grade A or A*(or the equivalent grade – 7, 8, 9) in three of the four subjects s/he wishes to study in the Sixth Form.

Tiffin School, as a selective boys’ grammar school, is reputed for its high academic standards and well-rounded education system. Catering to students aged 11-18, Tiffin’s comprehensive curriculum offers a wide variety of subjects at GCSE and A-Level.
Admission to the sixth form is based on GCSE results. [3] From September 2019, the Sixth Form became co-educational and admits around 80 girls. Tiffin remains an all boys’ school from Years 7 to 11.
We welcome applicants for Sixth Form places from both boys and girls who will achieve good GCSE grades. All students experience a thorough induction programme at the start of Year 12 to facilitate the transition into the Tiffin Sixth Form. We believe the blend of existing and new students, creates a distinctive and fresh start for all.
