district 9 tournament rules and regulations – 2020/2021 – updated 03/02/21 The District tournament is sanctioned by Minnesota Hockey and conducted by a selected host who will act as Tournament Director, in accordance with a contract executed with Minnesota Hockey.
Tournaments will be scheduled when four or more teams are registered. Depending on the number of teams registered, games could start as early as 9:00 AM on the Friday of the tournament and may go into late afternoon on Sunday so please let parents know to plan ahead in this case.

Start times shall be scheduled at two (2) hour intervals (minimum). In District tournament play, games for Junior Gold and younger will consist of three 12 to 15 minute periods of actual playing time as determined by the cognizant District director.
