Strings 1, 2, and 3 are made with hard-tension fluorocarbon, while strings 4, 5, and 6 are extra-extra-hard guitar wound basses. Warm, rich, tones and a great feel!
Oct 31, 2010 · Worth strings are my personal favourite ukulele strings. I think they handle finger-picking better than Aquila strings (and I do quite a lot of fingerpicking). For strumming, I think they’re fairly evenly matched. There’s also the matter of which ukulele they are on. Worths seem to sound best on mahogany instruments and Aquilas on koa.
Oct 1, 2012 · These strings are a very thin flat-wound metal that squeak about as much as regular plain Aquilas, and get wound like sustain, clarity and attack. I think they are a top option for a very solid built instrument. A real lightly braced instrument that could hold up Aquila tension over many years would suffer from these.
