Mar 18, 2008 · I think I prefer through-body but I really have no idea how it would change the sound of this guitar anyway. Second, the B-string is .125 instead of .130 like the P and J five-strings (FYI - a .130 string will not fit in the nut of the Dimension without filing it - which I did not and will not do). The .125 B-string sounds much better anyway.
Looks: 5/5. It's beautiful. Just beautiful. Sound: 5/5. Fluence system gives you so many options for just about any genre. Throw in an EQ pedal and you're ready to play anything. Finishing: 4/5. Apr 17, 2000 · It is an excellent bass, but a different animal then the Squier Dimension V. The MTD as a wider fingerboard, whereas the Dimension 5, even though it is 19mm spaced, as the same sized neck as most Fender 5 strings that are set up with 18mm spacing.
