In O and V you couldn't even one-shot-kill people early in the game, and then later in the game you could just walk into a fort and just kill everybody without effort. Mirage has a short uninteresting plot.
I don't get how kill someone without anyone seeing and you're wanted. It just doesn't make sense to me. I get if people see you kill but how can they possibly know it's you...

Things Assassin's Creed Mirage Doesn't Tell You
By KBABZ, Callum Williams, Scott White, +7 more
Despite returning to the more simplistic approach of its origins, Assassin’s Creed Mirage still manages to offer a rich gameplay experience that sees stealth and combat at its forefront. And, with so many new things to explore and uncover across Baghdad, there are understandably going to be a few things that slip between the cracks when it comes to explanations.
As enticing as it may be to explore Baghdad's vast and vibrant world straight out of the gate, we recommend continuing the main story until you begin Ra's Al-Afa Investigation mission, which occurs shortly after your first major assassination of the Order member Al Ghul.
At this point, you’ll have unlocked all significant features in the game, including the chance to discover the ancient Isu Gear set, access to all tools, and the Assassin’s Focus ability – a game-changing feature for those embracing their inner assassin.
Before stealing from a chest or pickpocketing, look for a red hand icon that will appear next to the button prompt. This icon means that should you steal this item in front of civilians, they’ll report you for illegal activity, and nearby guards will be alerted to your presence and begin actively hunting you down.
Hidden within the Gameplay menu, you'll find a Guaranteed Pickpocket option beneath Combat and Stealth. Enabling this feature will allow you to autocomplete the Pickpocketing Quick Time Event. It's worth noting this will override any Pickpocketing settings from your selected difficulty option.
Pay special attention to enemies loading up unblockable attacks, as you can stop the attack from occurring altogether by hitting them at just the right time. There's only a small window to successfully break the attack, so you'll need to act quickly, or else you'll find yourself in great danger if you fail to dodge in time.
To quickly uncover all collectibles on the World Map, visit the Cartographer merchant, who can be found in a busy marketplace towards the southern end of the Commanders’ District in Round City.
In exchange for Scholar Tokens, the Cartographer will sell you individual maps that instantly reveal hidden points of interest, treasures, and unique collectibles.
If you’re running low on Scholar Tokens or decide the Cartographer isn’t necessarily for you, we recommend using Enkidu as a great secondary option for revealing collectibles on your World Map. When flying as Enkidu, look for gold beams, as these mark collectibles you have yet to discover.
To reveal these collectibles on your World Map, simply fly close to the brightly lit beams.
While not tracked as a collectible, you can discover hidden notes throughout Baghdad that provide additional story details and references to events and characters from previous games. If you're searching for these notes, they'll appear white when using your Eagle Vision and can often be found on tables and shelves.
Unlike previous protagonists in the Assassin's Creed series, Basim doesn't exactly thrive in combat situations, even with upgraded Outfits and Weapons. With combat now more challenging than ever, adapting a button-mashing strategy while in combat will leave you significantly disadvantaged, as you’ll frequently be left vulnerable to incoming attacks.
Given the enhanced defensive ability of many enemies, button mashing will likely end with most of your attacks blocked. To have the most success in combat, you must smartly strategize your plan of attack and perform slow, well-calculated attacks and combinations.
As you explore the vibrant world of Baghdad, you will occasionally come across people offering optional conversations, which are indicated by white chatboxes above their heads and sometimes even overheard calling out Basim's name.
While not detrimental to the overarching story, these conversations offer unique dialogue that often delves into Basim’s life and those around him.
Unfortunately, if you’re not careful, these conversations can be entirely skipped should you opt not to speak with the person when given the chance. These optional conversations typically disappear as you complete story objectives, so take advantage of them as soon as you can.
One such example can be seen when meeting with Dervis during the opening mission, The Master Thief of Anbar. If you opt not to speak with the likes of Fehmi and Ameen outside Dervis’ house, you'll miss out on their conversations, which, without spoilers, will add further depth to the unfolding storyline in the future.
