"Kidnap and Ransom" is an exciting series out of Britain. Trevor Eve plays Dominic King, a war hero who is now a hostage negotiator. Corporations take out insurance policies on their most important people in certain countries in case they are kidnapped.
King was in a remote spot in the Bolivian Andes, handing over a $150,000 ransom in exchange for a hostage called Mark Turner. Unfortunately Turner proved to be dead on delivery, but the mob-handed and heavily armed kidnappers saw no reason why that should prevent them from collecting the ransom money anyway.
Kidnap and Ransom is a British television three-part miniseries, originally shown on ITV in January 2011 with a second series following in February 2012. The series follows the work of a British hostage negotiator Dominic King, played by Trevor Eve , who is also executive producer of the series.
