Primitive backpacking, hunter camps, and equestrian camping opportunities are available in some state forests. A wide range of family-friendly camping options are offered at 60 Ohio State Park campgrounds including primitive, electric and full-service sites.
Sycamore State Park is a 2,384-acre (965 ha) protected woodlands and public recreation park at 4675 N. Diamond Mill Road, in Trotwood, Ohio, United States. It is the only state park in Montgomery County, Ohio along Wolf Creek, a tributary of the Miami River, immediately west of Trotwood, east of Brookville, Ohio, and south of Clayton.
Campsite options include primitive sites, sites with electric service, sites with full-service hookups, pull-through sites, equestrian camping, tent-only camping, cedar or Sherman cabins (for a camping experience without a tent), and group camps as well as some hike-in camping opportunities.
Ohio State Parks showcase the state’s scenic beauty and provide more than 1,000 miles of forest trails and 70 sparkling lakes where visitors can hike, bike, boat, swim, fish, hunt or just relax and enjoy nature.
