Short. Description. A mighty demon is being summoned to destroy the city of Varrock. You find out you are the one destined to stop him (or at least try). Requirements. The ability to defeat a level 27 demon aided by three level 20 Dark wizards and two level 7 Dark wizards using the Silverlight in melee. Items required.
- Speak with Gypsy Aris. She will tell you about an ancient demon, Delrith, who was defeated long ago by a a hero named Wally using the sword, Silverlight.
- Speak to Sir Prysin on the first floor of the castle, near the entrance and he tell you that his grandfather was Wally and that he has the sword in his possesion.
- Walk to the northwest end of the castle, and climb to the third floor and speak to Captain Rovin in his room. After a conversation he will agree to give the key to you.
- Go back to the first floor, and head to the northeast side of the building. Climb up the stairs, and pick up a bucket.

Tormented demons are extremely powerful demons bound into a state of perpetual agony, healing their bodies as they burn, summoned by the Mahjarrat Lucien after he teleports away the Stone of Jas during While Guthix Sleeps. They can be found throughout the Ancient Guthixian Temple after completion of the quest.

Greater Demons are weak to everything making them very easy to kill. If you have a cannon, use it, you will fly through the task and get fast slayer experience. If not, use your best melee DPS gear and armour. You can also use ranged or magic and safespot them in the Chasm of Fire.
Greater Demons should be killed with melee for the fastest experience rates. Just bring whatever weapon/gear you have that will provide the best DPS.
Lesser Demons drop some alchables: 1. Mithril kiteshield (1/128) 2. Adamant platelegs(1/128) 3. Rune full helm (1/128) Greater demons also drop a small amount of coins. They also drop herbs as well. Finally, they drop runes: 1. (75) Fire runes (1/16) 2. (15) Chaos runes (1/25) 3. (5) Death runes (1/42) 4. (37) Fire runes (1/128)
Greater Demon tasks aren’t terrible, but they aren’t great either. If you have a cannon (or the money to use one), they can be very quick and good experience as well. As long as your combat stats are good, this task will give you pretty good experience rates. No real reason to skip Greater Demons other than its lack of drops.

Apr 3, 2023 · Speak with Aris in her tent in Varrock Square to start the quest. Dialogue: 1, 2, 3,4. Pay her 1 coin and she will tell your Delrith (the demon) is coming. Tell her you will kill Delrith. And finally, ask her how Wally killed Delrith. A cutscene will start. Write down the incantation that Wally shouts in the cutscene. You will need it later.
