    • See the Rockettes at Radio City Musical Hall. There is nothing quite like the Radio City Christmas Spectacular featuring the Rockettes. This festive dance show is a New York City tradition and a must-do if you’re visiting around the holidays.
    • Admire the holiday window displays. All along Fifth Avenue, storefronts are transformed into magical Christmas displays. Some of the best displays can be found at Saks, Bergdorf Goodman, and Barneys.
    • Sixth Avenue Christmas decorations. Heading west from Fifth Avenue and Rockefeller Center, you’ll come out onto Sixth Avenue. On Sixth Avenue, you can find all sorts of fun, oversized Christmas decorations, including giant Christmas ornaments, Christmas lights, and toy nutcrackers.
    • Attend themed events. New York is probably the best city in the world to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere. Malls and shopping streets are decked out for the holiday and special events take place all over the city.
    • Visit the New York Christmas markets. There is no shortage of traditional Christmas markets and villages in New York either. They are generally set up from mid-November until the end of December, but some remain open until the first week of January.
