BSA membership is annual from October 1 to September 30. (The Council changed the BSA membership year in April 2022. Read the full announcement and consult the FAQ for details.) All current members will be asked to renew in October of each year, no matter when they joined.
Prorated renewals will be available to active BSA members only between 1 September and 30 November 2022. Members renewing at the Emerging and Latin American levels are not eligible for prorated renewals because those memberships are already steeply discounted.
Membership. The majority of the Society’s members are from the United States and Canada, but most European countries, Japan, Korea, Australia, and New Zealand are also represented, together with institutions in Brazil, India, Israel, Saudi Arabia, and Zimbabwe.
