Looking for anyone with an opinion on Defiance by Corvus Belli. I was into Infinity when the board game was kickstarted. My Infinity group died over Covid, and now I have the board game sitting here. I can't find a single god damn review of this game beyond an unboxing or "impressions" video.
Infinity Defiance is a dungeon crawler with high quality metal miniatures that are compatible with Infinity. At the beginning of the Round, you build the Initiative deck which will determine the order in which the enemy units will be activated.

Sep 7, 2024 · It’ll make for a durable gameboard that can be rolled up and unrolled. The manufacturer already shipped me the initial version of the playmat, and it should arrive sometime next week or so. On the board, you can see a little grey model: that’s the armature for the Giant.

It was released in 2020 and designed by Igor Heras, Bagus Hutomo, and Francisco Rico Torres. The game features stunning miniatures and is based on the popular science fiction universe of Infinity.
Is defiance an enjoyable game? Worth buying as only a board game? We don't know, it's not out yet. it's on Kickstarter. From the people who have played it at advanced demos (usually at Conns) and the videos it looks fun.
