Koch Theater at Lincoln Center.
David Michalek is an American visual artist and director whose work is closely tied to an interest in the contemporary person, which he explores through the use of live performance, filmmaking, photography, drawing, installation, relational aesthetics, and public projects.
He is a visiting faculty member at Yale Divinity School, where he lectures on religion and the arts. David Michalek lives in New York with his wife Wendy Whelan, principal dancer of New York City Ballet. Visit davidmichalek.net for more on David's work.
