Jan 11, 2018 · According to court documents, on August 8-9, 1969, four members of the hippie cult known as the “Manson Family” broke into the former home of film director, Roman Polanski, and his wife, Sharon Tate. Tate was 9 months pregnant at the time, and was hosting a get together with friends at the Los Angeles home, located at 10050 Cielo Drive.
Manson’s Family committed a series of nine murders, most notably the murder of the 8 month pregnant, Sharon Tate. On August 9, 1969, Manson directed Tex Watson to take Susan Atkins, Linda Kasabian, and Patricia Krewinkel and go to 10050 Cielo Drive in Los Angeles and kill everybody.
