Davey Moore (June 9, 1959 – June 3, 1988) was an American professional boxer who held the WBA light middleweight title between February 1982 and June 1983, the second of two professional champions who shared the name in the second half of the 20th century.

Biography. Davey Moore boxed as a bantamweight at the 1952 Olympics, losing in the quarter-finals. He turned professional in May 1953, defeating Willie Reece by decision in six rounds. Moore had a steady progression through the featherweight ranks, and from April 1957 through March 1960 won 18 consecutive fights.
