Darkness Visible is an unsettling and unfamiliar new addition to the supernatural horror/thriller genre. Taking place in India, the film feels decidedly different from western films as it draws its scares/nightmares from a culture that the average American may know very little about.
London-raised Ronnie returns to his home in India to discover his mother Suleka has died in mysterious circumstances. As he uncovers a series of similar past murders, Ronnie's own inner-darkness come to light.
