Nel 2002 è al Museo d’Arte Contemporanea Villa Croce di Genova, alla Galleria Civica di Trento nel 2003 e alla Biennale di Venezia nel 2007 e nel 2013 nel Padiglione della Repubblica Araba Siriana. Vive e lavora a Milano.
Dopo l’esperienza con Ultrapop, Dario Arcidiacono prosegue su una strada più radicale: i suoi eclettici dipinti pop-fumettistici illustrano un mondo surreale, horror contemporaneo, tra zombi mutanti, catastrofi climatiche, crisi umanitarie, guerre e massacri.
Nato a Catania nel 1967, da tempo residente a Milano, Arcidiacono ha esordito nel 1995 con il gruppo degli "Ultrapop", con cui ha lavorato fino all'aprile di quest'anno. Un sodalizio a quattro che per molti anni si è presentato compatto e affiatato, pur nella forte autonomia di ogni artista.

Jan 9, 2017 · Born in Sicily’s Catania in 1967, and currently living in Milan, Dario Arcidiacono is resolute satirist, using grotesque comic monsters – mutants, zombies and other popular figures of the horror/splatter roster – to underline an acidulous political manifesto ( Ecce Clown series, Buon Natale, Stop ACTA! etc.).
