In 2001, Faster Pussycat reformed with original members Downe (vocals), Muscat (guitar) and Steele (guitar), alongside Downe's former Newlydeads bandmates Xristian Simon (guitar), Danny Nordahl (bass) and Chad Stewart (drums).
The somewhat illusive, "Slim Tender", also known as Danny Nordhal, has been playing bass for Faster Pussycat since 2001. Danny grew up on the East Coast and relocated to New York to work as a roadie for The Ramones.

Nov 2, 2015 · He grabbed a bus to NYC to catch a Johnny Thunders gig, where he met unsung NYC rock’n’roll hero-slash-bass player Danny Nordahl and gnarly glam-punk guitarist Pete Pagan. It was lust at first sight, and they decided to form a band right then and there.
At one time or another, The Newlydeads also featured Taime Downe's Faster Pussycat bandmates: guitarist Xristian Simon, bassist Danny Nordahl, and drummer Chad Stewart. They released two full studio albums (The Newlydeads and Dead End) , as well as a remix album ( Re-Bound ) and a compilation album ( Dreams from a Dirt Nap ) .
Nov 18, 2022 · The current version of the band features long-term members Danny Nordahl (bass) and Chad Stewart (drums) who both have been in the band for more than two decades now. Newer additions are guitarists Sam Bam Koltun and Ronnie Simmons .
