Daniel Francis Murphy (August 11, 1876 – November 22, 1955) was an American second baseman and outfielder in Major League Baseball from 1900 to 1915. He managed the Jersey City Skeeters in 1919.
Danny Murphy, a second baseman early in his career and an outfielder later in his career, was a 16-year major leaguer who played mostly with the Philadelphia Athletics of Connie Mack. They won the World Series three times and the pennant two other times while he was with them.
