Daniel Francis Murphy (born August 23, 1942 in Beverly, MA), is a retired professional baseball player who played pitcher and outfielder in the Major Leagues from 1960 to 1962 and in 1969–1970 for the Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox.
Daniel Ben Murphy (born 18 March 1977) is an English former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Murphy began his career with Crewe Alexandra in 1993 before moving to Liverpool in 1997. With Liverpool, he won the League Cup, FA Cup and UEFA Cup.
