Daniel was born in 1951 in Glasgow and went on to study at the city's School of Art and at Glasgow College of Building and Printing. After studying, he worked as an artist and lithographer within the printing industry. In 1995 however, he established his own studio and now exhibits in many galleries throughout the UK.
