Dan holds an English degree and master’s degree in journalism, both from the University of Kansas, and a law degree from the UMKC School of Law. He is licensed to practice in state and federal courts in Kansas and Missouri. Dan is a member of NOVA/National Organization of Veterans’ Advocates and has been named as a Super Lawyer.
Aug 15, 2024 · Prior to entering private practice, Dan served as law clerk for the Hon. Scott O. Wright in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri from 1998 to 2000. He served as president of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association in 2017.

Aug 15, 2024 · For nearly a decade, he served on the DOJ’s national Securities Fraud Working Group. During his tenure at the U.S. attorney’s office, Dan served as the Executive Assistant U.S. Attorney from 2008 to 2010 for an office of 128 employees, including 68 attorneys, giving him a top supervisory role in all litigation and operations.
