Child Development Centre. The CDC (Child Development Centre) is a specialist pre-school service responsible for the assessment of neurodevelopmental conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). We also support the assessment of children with other complex developmental needs in West Northants.
The CDC nursing team provides quality, specialist, multi-disciplinary services for children with moderate to severe disabilities and their families registered with a GP in the Barking & Dagenham area, in order to ensure each child reaches their full potential.
Our neurodevelopmental diagnosis pathway is based at The Lighthouse Child Development Centre. It is delivered by a team of professionals who can assess and diagnose conditions such as ADHD, autism, dyspraxia, tics and Tourette’s syndrome. A new referral process launched in January 2023.
