I think she is depicted with the dalmatian coat later or maybe in the live action version, but in the original she had a beige coat, yes. This one has been around for a while.

  5. Maleficent as a character was purely evil in every sense and there was no ambiguity in her movie. There is far less leeway to take liberties to celebrate a character with Maleficent than Cruella. With Cruella you at least get a sense that she can pretty easily go down the path of her mother and essentially be the person we saw in the film.

  8. May 27, 2021 · While I agree with reducing the presence of cigarettes in media (especially media aimed at young viewers), I'm inclined to defend the original Cruella Deville. Originally, I feel that her cigarette was handled in a way that strongly accentuated the eccentric nature of the character while making the habit itself look terribly unappealing.
