Cookie is an unconventional misfit of a teenager, whose manners annoy her father. But when he gets out of prison he wants to do the right thing by her, and so, after a couple of other bright ideas don't pan out, he hires her as his chauffeur.
The film received negative reviews from critics upon its release and has a 13% rating on Rotten Tomatoes from 15 reviews, with an average rating of 4.5/10. Roger Ebert said the film was funny and pleasant in some sense, but he felt it "[wasn't] very memorable probably because the filmmakers didn't have a clear vision of it themselves."
