I had travel insurance from Columbus Direct over the years for multiple trips including backpacking, single trip, annual cover. I have never had any problem with claim submission or to contact them- even when abroad and requested to call me back.
Nov 8, 2016 · When during Covid 19 lockdown we were not allowed to travel, I contacted Columbus Direct to ask them to freeze my annual travel insurance policy and they blankly refused. I hadn't asked for a refund, just for them to freeze the policy until I was allowed to travel once more.
May 14, 2009 · I've just booked my holiday insurance through Columbus - as I always do - and they now have a system for entering Pre existing medical conditions online. My missus has two conditions and it added 50p to the policy!!!
