The mission of the Office of Registration Services is to support scholarship, teaching, and learning at Columbia Law School. In so doing, we uphold the academic policies of the faculty with regard to equity and transparency and serve all members of our constituencies with respect and professionalism. Applications for the fall 2024 class will open September 1, 2023, and are due February 15, 2024. Because applications are generally evaluated on a rolling basis, you should submit your application as soon as possible after September 1. Applications are not reviewed by the Admissions Committee until all required materials have been received.
In reviewing applications, the Admissions Committee considers all of the information contained in your file, such as your law school transcripts to date, your undergraduate and any other graduate transcripts, LSAT performance, letter(s) of recommendation, and a statement regarding why you are seeking visiting student status at Columbia Law School.
