May 26, 2020 · The Asylum return to the disaster movie well with Collision Earth, yet another “Earth’s in trouble and only science can save us” film.
For a movie this bad to be released in 2020 is amazing. The plot is hideous, the effects are that of a 1970s film and do not deserve the word 'special' in front of it. I cannot fathom how any 'director' can stand back and say 'yep, proud of that'. The production and SFX teams should be ashamed.
Collision Earth: Directed by Matthew Boda. With Kate Watson, Joseph Michael Harris, Daniel O'Reilly, Becca Buckalew. A large meteor shower unexpectedly bombards planet Earth. Scientists rush to the scene of the first impact and the race is on to find a solution to save humanity.

Preston arrives at Sphere and manages to get in even though he is not authorized. He tells his old boss Edward Rex to recalculate the planet's trajectory. Recalculating, they realize that Mercury is on a collision course with Earth with impact in 18 hours.
