For the most part, the film is very entertaining, a different plot, some secrets brewing, A city island lifestyle, beautiful scenery, and a story that was about to hit the climax when Vince with his acting colleague are about to share the news of his successful acting audition with his family.

CITY ISLAND is a farcical family comedy/drama about a quirky, yet charming dysfunctional Italian American Catholic family, the Rizzos.
