Cipha Sounds (born Luis Diaz; on April 19, 1976) is an American DJ, comedian, and radio and television personality of Puerto Rican [1] descent. He is mostly known for his work as a DJ, a VJ for MTV, and as a comedian.
Cipha Sounds is known worldwide as a formidable on-air radio personality, hosting the Cipha Sounds Effect morning show on Sirius Satellite Radio’s Shade 45 channel every weekday from 8:00am to noon, and his own show on Saturdays from noon to 4:00pm on New York’s Hot 97.
