Leonard Christopher was convicted in the murder of one of the nine supposedly linked victims, but the others remain unsolved. All of the victims were sexually assaulted and stabbed to death. Several of the victims were seen with a middle-aged white man shortly before their murders.

The Frankford Slasher murdered women in the Frankford area of Philadelphia PA in 1985-1990. Some of the female victims who had been stabbed repeatedly were white. Their age varied from 28 years old to 68 years old. Leonard Christopher was convicted of the serial murder case but the conviction is very controversial.
