Christopher Curry (born Christopher Root; October 22, 1948) is an American character actor of film and television who has appeared in more than 70 films and television programs since the 1980s. His best-known roles are as Captain Bosch in C.H.U.D. and Rico's father in Starship Troopers.
Timothy James Curry (born 19 April 1946) is an English actor and singer. He rose to prominence as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in the film The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975), reprising the role he had originated in the 1973 London, 1974 Los Angeles, and 1975 Broadway musical stage productions of The Rocky Horror Show.
Tim’s father had an intellectual bent and wrote a thesis on ‘English Sea Chaplains in the Royal Navy, (1577-1684)’ gaining an MA from Bristol University in 1956. Following another stroke and a bout of pneumonia, Jim Curry died in 1958, during Tim’s 12th year.
